Not sure where I heard about it first, saw teh trailer on youtube about a year ago tho. Joined the site and donated as well - the movie was mostly crowsourced, as in, funded by internet donations. As you went along, if you donated, you got to view clips of it "in the making" and behind-the-scenes vids of how they put it together. So, will be good to finally see the finished article!

Wow! You must really have faith in it if you donated to it. Smile

Well, you saw the trailer and it looked kick-ass. Besides, Finnish movies are pretty damn good at the moment - if you can get 'em, take a look for "Dead Snow" (nazi zombies), "Rare Exports" (evil santa claus) or "Troll Hunter" (well, trolls obviously:-P).

"Dead Snow" had the best looking zombies of all time:

Of course it lost me about 1/2 way through when it went into comedy mode. Finns aren't really world famous for their sense of humor. If it doesn't have "Evil Dead II" in its title......don't try to make horror into comedy.

I haven't seen the others. I know it is Swedish instead of Finnish but "Let the Right One In" was good.

I watched an early trailer for this about 6 months ago. I like the direction they are going in. The comedy in this movie is better (by far) than the cheesy stuff in "Dead Snow". This is a movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. I like that.
